Scarthingwell Park receives buyers seal of approval.....who by own admission isn't easily pleased! - January 20

The new homes at Scarthingwell Park have received the seal of approval from another local tradesman, Roy Crispin, who by his own admission says he isn't very easy to please!

Roy, who manages his own business fitting kitchens and bathrooms prides himself on his high standards and says he knows exactly what to look for when it comes to build quality and top class interior specification.

"We wanted to buy a new build property purely because I like the convenience aspect of literally moving in and not having to worry about DIY or maintenance, so I began looking around at what was being built locally.

"The new homes at Scarthingwell Park boast a number of good design features and really have ticked all the right boxes in terms of finish and build quality. And I'm not easy to please!" exclaims Roy.
What started out as a quiet drive out one Sunday afternoon ended up with a dream home and total change of lifestyle for Roy and Marilyn who previously lived in a bungalow in Aberford but have just received the keys to their brand new townhouse at Scarthingwell Park.
And not one's to waste time, following their first viewing of Scarthingwell Park the couple immediately placed their old property on the market which sold within a matter of weeks so they could go back to Portford Homes, this time to make a reservation!
The Crispin's were also impressed with the rural setting of Scarthingwell Park. "It's like going through a time portal to another world," says Marilyn Crispin.

"The development feels like it has been thoughtfully planned so that it reflects its rural surroundings and provides a peaceful setting for all the residents to enjoy as a community. Whilst we feel like we are getting away from it all here, it is still convenient for us both in terms of work and getting around. All in all rather perfect and a great way to start the new year!"
Tucked away at the end of a long sweeping driveway, in a rural location surrounded by panoramic views of the rich woodland and lakeside, Scarthingwell Park offers a mixture of two and three-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom townhouses, with prices starting from £245,000.
Portford Homes is encouraging portential buyers to visit the development now to appreciate the beauty of this flagship project as time is quickly running out now that only 11 new homes remain.
