Winter solutions to get byers moving - October 05

In the property bleak midwinter....Portford Homes has a solution to get buyers moving

Subsidised monthly mortgage payments, no deposit needed, stamp duty paid, free carpets..... are just some of the incentives that housebuilders are currently throwing at buyers to tempt them back into the market.
But are these incentives really what buyers want and need when it comes to buying a house asks Portford Homes. Or is hard cash that really speaks to buyers who are looking to make a move before the end of the year.
"Everywhere you look, housebuilders are offering a range incentives and discounts to grab buyers attention," says David Mackintosh, Portford Homes' Sales & Marketing Director. "But we believe it is cold hard cash that will really make the difference for many buyers and so have focused purely on genuine price reductions.
"It is clear to see that the property market is delicate at present with prices dipping and the desire to move waning due to the unsettling affects of Home Information Packs. The economic fluctuations are also having a tightening effect on consumers spending power and with the general condition of the financial markets this is likely to continue.
"However, it is our belief that the market will soon recover and so now is the best time for buyers to make the most of our serious discounts. Anyone looking to move before the end of the year would be well advised to contact us as quickly as possible."
Portford Homes is encouraging buyers to visit Cypress Heights off Carlton Road in Barnsley to find out more about the genuine reductions on the range of three and four-bedroom townhouses and detached homes. Or for more information contact Portford Homes on 01226 299815 or log onto www.portford.co.uk
